Introduction

Kohima, the capital of Nagaland, offers a unique blend of nature, tribal traditions, and historical legacy. Surrounded by green hills and dotted with charming villages, Kohima is most famous for the Battle of Kohima during World War II and for hosting the colorful Hornbill Festival, which showcases the rich culture of Nagaland’s many tribes. Whether you're exploring the war memorial, visiting traditional Naga villages, or enjoying misty mountain views, Kohima has a calm, earthy charm that makes it truly special.
